Honda Day – 14 June 2020

The annual Honda day will almost certainly not take place this year, as it looks now. A huge disappointment for all the enthusiasts who have made this special day a true happening in recent years. The board of the HVN (Honda association Netherlands) has of course already prepared its own events calendar for 2020, but the corona virus means that intended events will often not take place. Of course, health is paramount for everyone, so with pain in the heart, one event after another is canceled.

What once started as a small ride has turned into a big weekend. The Honda Day is one of the biggest events in the Netherlands in the field of mopeds. The Honda Day is more than an ordinary tour in which only Honda four-stroke mopeds and derivatives thereof participate. There have been Honda days where around 1500 participants were present.
In recent years, the Honda Day has turned into a Honda weekend. A Saturday and a Sunday in the year are all about the Honda four-stroke moped. On Saturdays there is always a preparty organized where you camp while enjoying music and a barbecue. During this preparty, an election is always held who has the most beautiful (good) the most original and the brackishest moped. The winners will receive a beautiful, original and/or brackish prize!

The events for 2020

Is the overview that has been placed on the site of the HVN are the intended trips included, but also a large part of them will not be able to continue.

For the coming months – especially with the nice weather – you will mainly go out alone or with your direct partner. That can of course also be very nice and cozy but it is certainly different from all other years and it is not a Honda day. .
