Good general terms and conditions are important for webshop owners and customers. Here you can read our General Terms and Conditions Webshop. Not only the government creates rules to ensure the safety of your purchase. As a webshop owner, we are also happy to inform you of our conditions. By agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions Webshop, an agreement has been concluded between us and you as a customer. But before you agree to our General Terms and Conditions, we kindly ask you to read the conditions carefully and to take note of our working method. This can prevent unpleasant situations! Article 1 – Webshop
1.1. The Four Stroke Barn is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and meets its obligations towards the tax authorities. On our website you can find our Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number. You will also find our contact details there.
1.2. We never provide your personal data to third parties unless we are not legally obliged to do so. If we receive requests to provide your personal data to third parties, we will always ask you for permission in advance.
1.4. In case of possible suspicion of abuse or fraud by means of the website environment, we report it to the police.
1.5. The webshop has taken out professional liability insurance to cover itself against any unjustified liability claimed by a customer.
1.6. We strive to provide you with an excellent service at all times. If you have any doubts about the purchase of a product, our staff will be happy to help you.
Article 2 – Cooling-off period
2.1. You have a 14-day cooling-off period after purchasing a particular product. If you are dissatisfied with the purchase within this period, you can return the product to us without having to pay for the product yourself. You only pay the shipping costs for returning the relevant product. If you have already made a payment, the amount paid by you will be refunded to your account number.
2.2. If the item was purchased with gift or coupons, the refund will take place in the same form.
2.3. By returning part of the order made, the purchase amount may fall below the limit of free shipping. If this is the case, the original shipping costs will be deducted from the return amount.
2.4. Products that are returned to us must be properly packaged and in completely unaltered condition
2.5. Products that cannot be returned to us are products that have been specially ordered at your request.
2.6. Returning purchased items must take place via parcel post so that it can be demonstrated that the package has been returned.
Article 3 – The agreement
3.1. The agreement between the webshop and the customer is final when the customer has made a payment via iDEAL or PayPal, or when an invoice has been sent to the customer afterwards. After the cooling-off period of 14 days has expired and payment has been received by the webshop, the customer has become the owner of the product in question.
3.2. The agreement has been concluded electronically, by filling in the required fields. By making the payment you agree to the general terms and conditions.
3.3. As a customer, you are obliged to fulfil your payment obligation to the webshop.
3.4. After you have made a purchase, you will receive a written confirmation of your purchase by email. It states the product you have purchased and what it will cost you.
3.5. We ship the products after the amount owed by you has been credited to our account. If we have not received the amount within 7 days, we assume that you cancel the purchase and we will put the item back on sale.
3.6. We strive to ship the products ordered by you no later than the first working day after we have received your order. If due to unforeseen circumstances the article is not available within this period, we will inform you in writing.
3.7. The delivery of products abroad can take longer than a delivery in the Netherlands. The costs charged for shipping to an address abroad are visible to you when you purchase the product.
3.8. With the payment of the purchase price you indicate that you have taken note and agree to the general terms and conditions.
Article 4 – The price
4.1. The prices listed on our webshop always include VAT. The costs that have to be paid for shipping the product will be visible when you have added the product to your shopping cart.
4.2. The price stated with the product on the website cannot change during your purchase. You pay the amount that is visible with the product and which is also confirmed to you, if you electronically agree to the purchase. In it, the purchase price is again stated.
4.3. If you buy a product during a period in which no promotion applies, you are not eligible for a discount afterwards.
Article 5 – Complaints and warranty
5.1. Complaints about the delivery must initially be reported to us by telephone. We will then contact the relevant delivery person regarding the delivery of the product. Of course, our delivery drivers do their utmost to deliver the product to your home undamaged.
5.2. Complaints about the product itself must be reported to us by telephone or e-mail. These are always answered by us personally. Describe your complaint as specifically as possible. If it is within our capabilities, we will solve the problem for you ourselves.
5.3. Complaints are usually handled by us within 14 days. The handling of a complaintservice by telephone or in writing.
5.4. In principle, no guarantee provision applies to the items used, unless this has been expressly agreed otherwise at the time of purchase and recorded in writing.
Exception. The return policy rules indicated above do not apply to engineand electronic components. In the exceptional case that there are problems with this, we will of course do everything we can to solve this together with you. (This policy also applies to engineand electronic components purchased from the shop.)
When the customer has indicated that he has agreed to the general terms and conditions and he has authorized the webshop to debit the money from his account.
