Make sure your valves open at the right time because otherwise ……….

Of course, everyone understands that your valves have to open at the right time if you want to be able to ride your moped nice and “full speed”. Checking that the inlet or exhaustvalve opens at the right time seems much more difficult than it is. A small check can never hurt especially if you have replaced the gears and the guided wheel and if it is not all in time adjust it. Note that valves that do not open and close at the right time can cause enormous damage to your block.

Why do valves have to open and close at the right time.

Through the intake valve the fuel mixture enters the cylinder and after the spark plug has “exploded” the fuel mixture, the burned gases disappear through the exhaustvalve. It is of course important that the piston moves down when the inlet valve opens and moves back up when the exhaustvalve opens. You will understand that if the valves do not open and close at the right time, strange things will happen to your engine.
